302.17
302.17(1) (1) When any inmate is received into any state penal institution the department shall register the date of admission, the name, age, nativity and nationality and such other facts as may be obtained as to parentage, education and previous history and environments of such inmate.
302.17(2) (2) The department shall make entries on the register to reflect the progress made by each inmate while incarcerated and the inmate’s release on parole or extended supervision, condition at the time of release on parole or extended supervision and progress made while on parole or extended supervision.
