302.105 302.105(1) (1) In this section: 302.105(1)(a) (a) “Member of the family” means spouse, domestic partner under ch. 770 , child, sibling, parent or legal guardian. 302.105(1)(b) (b) “Victim” means a person against whom a crime has been committed. 302.105(2) (2) Before an inmate who is in a prison serving a sentence for a violation of s. 940.01 , 940.03 , 940.05 , 940.225 (1) or (2) , 948.02 (1) or (2) , 948.025 , 948.06 , 948.07 , or 948.085 is released from imprisonment because he or she has reached the expiration date of his or her sentence, the department shall make a reasonable attempt to notify all of the following persons, if they can be found, in accordance with sub.
