285.57 285.57(1) (1) Definition. In this section, “class I substance” has the meaning given in 42 USC 7671 (3). 285.57(2) (2) Medical sterilizers. 285.57(2)(a) (a) The department shall evaluate the progress toward eliminating the use of class I substances in medical sterilizers. The department shall complete the evaluation no later than August 1, 1994. 285.57(2)(b) (b) Based on the results of the evaluation under par.
