196.201 196.201(1) (1) Definition. In this section, “private shared telecommunications system” means plant or equipment used to provide telecommunications service through privately owned customer premises equipment to a user group located in a discrete premises, such as in a building complex or a large multitenant building, or used to provide telecommunications service where the cost of service is shared among 2 or more persons who are not affiliated interests under s. 196.52 , and where the plant or equipment is not used to offer telecommunications service for sale directly or indirectly to the general public. 196.201(2) (2) Request for access.
