181.0843 181.0843(1) (1) Resignation. An officer may resign at any time by delivering notice to the corporation that complies with s. 181.0141 . The resignation is effective when the notice is delivered, unless the notice specifies a later effective date and the corporation accepts the later effective date. If a resignation is effective at a later date, the board, or the officer authorized by the bylaws or the board to appoint the resigning officer, may fill the pending vacancy before the effective date if the appointment provides that the successor may not take office until the effective date. 181.0843(2) (2) Removal.
