134.48 134.48(1) (1) In this section: 134.48(1)(a) (a) “Newspaper” means a publication that is printed on newsprint and that is published, printed and distributed periodically at daily, weekly or other short intervals for the dissemination of current news and information of a general character and of a general interest to the public. 134.48(1)(b) (b) “Place of public accommodation” means a business, accommodation, refreshment, entertainment, recreation or transportation facility where goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages or accommodations are offered, sold or otherwise made available to the public. 134.48(2) (2) A contract for the display of a newspaper that is distributed free of charge to the public in a place of public accommodation may not prohibit the person displaying
