101.983 101.983(1) (1) Construction, installation, and alteration. 101.983(1)(a) (a) Approval required. No person may construct, install, or alter a conveyance in this state unless an elevator contractor licensed by the department under s. 101.985 (1) has received an approval for the construction, installation, or alteration from the department. 101.983(1)(b) (b) Application.
