101.578 101.578(1) (1) In this section, “medical waste incinerator” has the meaning given in s. 287.07 (7) (c) 1. cr. 101.578(2) (2) The department shall promulgate rules establishing requirements that protect persons who work at medical waste incinerators from exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials. The rules shall be at least as strict as any federal requirements.
