Text

Every person hired by the district and having in his or her custody or under his or her control, in connection with his or her contract of hire, any records, books, papers, or other property belonging to the district shall immediately upon the expiration of his or her services, turn over and deliver, under oath, to the district board or any member thereof, all such records, books, papers, or other property. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
