Text

(1)A license issued by the director is required to:
(a)Practice taxidermy for commercial purposes;
(b)Deal in raw furs for commercial purposes;
(c)Act as a fishing guide; or
(d)Operate a game farm.
(2)A permit issued by the director is required to:
(a)Conduct, hold, or sponsor hunting or fishing contests or competitive field trials using live wildlife;
(b)Collect wild animals, wild birds, game fish, food fish, shellfish, or protected wildlife for research or display;
(c)Stock game fish; or
(d)Conduct commercial activities on department-owned or controlled lands.
(3)Aquaculture as defined in RCW 15.85.020 is exempt from the requirements of this section, except when being stocked in public waters under contract with the department. Finding — Intent — Effective date — 20
