Text

Each resident's room shall:

(1)Be equipped with or conveniently located near toilet and bathing facilities;
(2)Be at or above grade level;
(3)Contain a suitable bed for each resident and other appropriate furniture;
(4)Have closet space that provides security and privacy for clothing and personal belongings;
(5)Contain no more than four beds;
(6)Have adequate space for each resident; and
(7)Be equipped with a device for calling the staff member on duty. The department may waive the space, occupancy, and certain equipment requirements of this section for an existing building constructed prior to January 1, 1980, or space and certain equipment for new intermediate care facilities for persons with intellectual disabilities for as long as the department considers appropriate if
