Text

(1)The administrative regions of the department shall, in collaboration with school districts within their region as required by RCW 28A.225.360 , develop protocols specifying specific strategies for communication, coordination, and collaboration regarding the status and progress of children in out-of-home care placed in the region, and children in the region who are the subject of a dependency proceeding. The purpose of the protocols is to maximize the educational continuity and achievement for the children. The protocols must include methods to assure effective sharing of information, consistent with RCW 28A.225.330 .
