All assistance granted under this title shall be deemed to be granted and to be held subject to the provisions of any amending or repealing act that may hereafter be enacted, and no recipient shall have any claim for compensation, or otherwise, by reason of his or her assistance being affected in any way by such amending or repealing act. There is no legal entitlement to public assistance. Short title — Part headings, captions, table of contents not law — Exemptions and waivers from federal law — Conflict with federal requirements — Severability — 1997 c 58: See RCW 74.08A.900 through 74.08A.904 .
