The purpose of this chapter is to provide additional programs for the treatment and rehabilitation of persons suffering from narcotic and dangerous drug abuse. Effective date — 1969 ex.s. c 123: "The effective date of this act shall be July 1, 1969." [ 1969 ex.s. c 123 s 3 .]
