In order to assure that technical guidelines and standards keep pace with advancing technologies, the department of health in collaboration with local health departments and other interested parties, must review and update as appropriate, the state guidelines and standards for alternative on-site sewage disposal every three years. The first review and update must be completed by January 1, 1999. Effective date — 2010 1st sp.s. c 26; 2010 1st sp.s. c 7: See note following RCW 43.03.027 .
