Text
(1)There is hereby established within the department a state emergency medical reserve corps, which shall serve at the direction and control of the secretary. The secretary may deploy the state emergency medical reserve corps by order as allowed for by this chapter.
(2)The secretary may:
(a)Enter into contracts and enter into and distribute grants on behalf of the department to carry out the purposes of this chapter; and
(b)Promulgate rules to implement this chapter.
