Text
(1)After July 1, 1990, no person shall operate or maintain an adult family home in this state without a license under this chapter.
(2)Couples legally married or state registered domestic partners:
(a)May not apply for separate licenses; and
(b)May apply jointly to be coproviders if they are both qualified. One person may apply to be a provider without requiring the other person to apply.
