(1)Except as otherwise provided in subsection (2) of this section and subject to subsection (3) of this section, the report under RCW 63.30.220 must be filed and paid on or before October 31st of each year and cover the 12 months preceding July 1st of that year.

(2)Subject to subsection (3) of this section, the report under RCW 63.30.220 to be filed by an insurance company must be filed and paid on or before April 30th of each year for the immediately preceding calendar year.

(3)Before the date for filing the report under RCW 63.30.220 , the holder of property presumed abandoned may request the administrator to extend the time for filing. The administrator may grant an extension. If the extension is granted, the holder may pay or make a partial payment of the amount the holder estimat
