Text
(1)(a) In addition to the penalties and other enforcement provisions of this chapter, the commissioner may seek both temporary and permanent injunctive relief when:
(i)A discount plan is being operated by a person or entity that is not licensed under this chapter; or
(ii)Any person, entity, or discount plan organization has engaged in any activity prohibited by this chapter or any rule adopted under this chapter.
(b)The venue for any court proceeding brought under this section is Thurston county.
(2)The commissioner's authority to seek injunctive relief is not conditioned on having conducted any proceeding under chapter 34.05 RCW.
