The board shall adopt rules that provide geographical diversity in selecting improvement projects to be funded from the transportation improvement account and small city program funds. Savings — Severability — 1988 c 167: See notes following RCW 47.26.121 . Effective date — 1981 c 315: "This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety, the support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and shall take effect July 1, 1981."
