Text
Before accepting an application for a replacement license tab or windshield emblem, the department, county auditor or other agent, or subagent appointed by the director shall charge a fifty cent fee for each tab or windshield emblem. The license tab or windshield emblem replacement fee must be deposited in the motor vehicle fund created in RCW 46.68.070 . A replacement tab or emblem may be issued under this section only in conjunction with an application for a duplicate registration certificate under RCW 46.16A.190 .
