Text

(a)The authority to adopt rules for the efficient enforcement of this chapter is hereby vested in the Department. The Department may make the rules adopted under this chapter conform, insofar as practicable, with those promulgated under the federal act.
(b)[Repealed.]
(c)Before adopting any rules contemplated by section 4058; subdivision 4060(10); section 4061; subdivisions 4064(4), (6), (7), (8), and (11); or subsection 4068(b) of this title, the Department shall give appropriate notice of the proposal and of the time and place for a hearing. The rule so adopted shall take effect on a date fixed by the Department, which date shall not be earlier than 60 days after its adoption.
