Text
A policy issued in violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be held valid but shall be construed as provided in the provisions of this chapter. When a provision in a policy is in conflict with the provisions of this chapter, the rights, duties, and obligations of the insurer, the policyholder, and the beneficiary shall be governed by the provisions of this chapter.
