Text
If a worker who has been hired outside this State is injured while engaged in his or her employer’s business and is entitled to compensation for such injury under the law of the state where he or she was hired, he or she shall be entitled to enforce against his or her employer his or her rights in this State, if his or her rights are such that they can be reasonably determined and dealt with by the Commissioner and the court in this State. (Amended 1981, No. 165 (Adj. Sess.), § 1.)
