Within the Village limits, the Building Inspector shall have authority to oversee the location and construction of all buildings, and all repairs on buildings already constructed, and shall oversee the construction and repair of elevators, oil storage tanks, fireplaces, stoves, flues, chimneys, and all electrical wiring. The Building Inspector may order the occupants or owners of any building or premises to repair the same, or any elevator, oil storage tank, fireplace, stove, flue, chimney, or electrical wiring that, in the opinion of the trustees is unsafe or dangerous; and the Building Inspector may inspect the manner of manufacture and keeping of all explosives and combustibles.
