Text

The transportation of alcoholic beverages in any motor vehicle which is being used, or is licensed, for the transportation of passengers for hire is prohibited, except when carried in the possession of a passenger who is being transported for compensation at the regular rate and fare charged other passengers. Any person convicted of a violation of this section shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
