Text
(1)Before an arbitrator is selected and able to act, the court may enter a temporary order on a motion of a party in accordance with this title and the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure.
(2)After an arbitrator is selected:
(2)(a) the arbitrator may make a temporary award in accordance with this title and the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure; and
(2)(b) if the matter is urgent and the arbitrator is not able to act in a timely manner or provide an adequate remedy, the court may enter a temporary order on a motion by a party.
(3)(3)(a) On a motion of a party, before the court confirms a final award, the court under Section 81-15-115, 81-15-117, or 81-15-118 may confirm, correct, vacate, or amend a temporary award made under Subsection (2)(a).
