(1)(1)(a) The office may not disclose information maintained or filed with the office under this chapter unless the disclosure is permitted by this chapter or by a court order.
(1)(b) Any person who discloses information obtained from the office's voluntary adoption registry in violation of this part, or knowingly allows that information to be disclosed in violation of this chapter, is guilty of a class A misdemeanor.
(2)(2)(a) The office shall, in accordance with Section 63J-1-504, establish a fee to be paid by an individual who requests information or other services under Section 81-13-103 or 81-13-504, and to cover the costs related to providing the information, services, and improvements described in Subsection (2).
