§ 81-13-201 — Definitions for part.

As used in this part, "sexual offense" means:
(1)"Sexual offense" means:
(1)(a) an offense described in Title 76, Chapter 5, Part 4, Sexual Offenses; or
(1)(b) an offense under the laws of the state where the minor child was conceived that is substantially similar to an offense described in Title 76, Chapter 5, Part 4, Sexual Offenses.
(2)"Sexual offense" does not include:
(2)(a) an offense described in Section 76-5-417, 76-5-418, 76-5-419, or 76-5-420; or
(2)(b) an offense under the laws of the state where the minor child was conceived that is substantially similar to an offense described in Section 76-5-417, 76-5-418, 76-5-419, or 76-5-420.
