Text

(1)The division may not terminate or modify adoption assistance unless the division gives the adoptive parents notice and opportunity for a hearing as required in Title 63G, Chapter 4, Administrative Procedures Act.
(2)The division shall terminate adoption assistance if any of the following occur:
(2)(a) the adoptive parents request termination;
(2)(b) subject to Subsection (3), the child reaches 18 years old, unless the division gives approval to continue beyond 18 years old due to mental or physical disability;
(2)(c) the child dies;
(2)(d) the adoptive parents die;
(2)(e) the adoptive parents' legal responsibility for the child ceases;
(2)(f) the state determines that the child is no longer receiving support from the adoptive parents;
(2)(g) the child marries; or
(2)(h) the child ent
