Text
(1)An indigent defense system shall provide indigent defense services for an indigent individual in accordance with the core principles adopted by the commission under Section 78B-22-404.
(2)(2)(a) On or before March 30 of each year, all indigent defense systems shall submit a written report to the commission that describes each indigent defense system's compliance with the commission's core principles.
(2)(b) If an indigent defense system fails to submit a timely report under Subsection (2)(a), the indigent defense system is disqualified from receiving a grant from the commission for the following calendar year.
