Text
(1)There is created a restricted account in the General Fund known as the "Safe at Home Program Restricted Account."
(2)The account shall be funded by:
(2)(a) private contributions;
(2)(b) gifts, donations, or grants from public or private entities; and
(2)(c) interest and earnings on account money.
(3)Upon appropriation by the Legislature, the commission may expend funds from the account to:
(3)(a) designate, train, and manage program assistants;
(3)(b) develop, distribute, and process application forms and related materials for the program;
(3)(c) assist applicants and program participants in enrolling in the program; or
(3)(d) ensure program participants receive mail forwarded from the program to the program participant's actual address.
