Text

(1)The board may revoke the parole of any individual who is found to have violated any condition of the individual's parole.
(2)(2)(a) If a parolee is confined by the department or any law enforcement official for a suspected violation of parole, the department:
(2)(a)(i) shall immediately report the alleged violation to the board, by means of an incident report; and
(2)(a)(ii) make any recommendation regarding the incident.
(2)(b) A parolee may not be held for a period longer than 72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, without first obtaining a warrant.
(2)(c) The board shall expeditiously consider warrant requests from the department under Section 64-14-205.
