Text

(1)(1)(a) An individual may create an advance health care directive that addresses only mental health care for the individual.
(1)(b) The directive may include a health care instruction, a power of attorney for health care, or both.
(2)A health care instruction under this section may include the individual's:
(2)(a) general philosophy and objectives regarding mental health care; or
(2)(b) specific goals, preferences, and wishes regarding the provision, withholding, or withdrawal of a form of mental health care, including:
(2)(b)(i) preferences regarding professionals, programs, and facilities;
(2)(b)(ii) admission to a mental-health facility, including duration of admission;
(2)(b)(iii) preferences regarding medications;
(2)(b)(iv) refusal to accept a specific type of mental health care,
