(1)(1)(a) A guardian of an incapacitated person shall diligently and in good faith carry out the specific duties, powers, and rights that the guardian is granted:
(1)(a)(i) in an order of appointment by a court under Section 75-5-304; and
(1)(a)(ii) under this section.
(1)(b) A court may, in the order of appointment, place specific limitations on the guardian's power, duties, and rights.
(1)(c) (1)(c)(i) Except as provided in this Subsection (1), a guardian has the same powers, rights, and duties respecting the ward that a parent has respecting the parent's unemancipated minor.
(1)(c)(ii) A guardian is not liable to a third person for acts of the guardian's ward solely by reason of the relationship described in Subsection (1)(c)(i).
