Text
As used in this chapter:
(1)"Adult" means an individual who is 18 years old or older.
(2)"Court visitor" means an individual who is trained in law, nursing, or social work and is an officer, employee, or special appointee of the court with no personal interest in the proceedings.
(3)"Full guardianship" means a guardianship that grants a guardian all the powers available to the guardian under the law with respect to an individual who is incapacitated, including all the powers, duties, and rights that a parent has with respect to the parent's unemancipated minor child.
(4)"Incapacitated" means the same as that term is defined in Section 75-1-201.
