Text

(1)During construction, enlargement, repair, alteration, or removal of any dam:
(1)(a) the state engineer, the state engineer's staff, or an independent consultant shall make periodic inspections of the work for the purpose of ascertaining compliance with the approved plans and specifications; and
(1)(b) the owner of the dam shall:
(1)(b)(i) conduct tests that the state engineer determines are necessary;
(1)(b)(ii) provide adequate supervision of the work by an engineer licensed by the state who has experience in dam design and construction; and
(1)(b)(iii) disclose information sufficient to enable the state engineer to determine that the work is being done in conformance with the approved plans and specifications.
