Text
(1)The state council shall:
(1)(a) serve as a forum to encourage and facilitate discussion and collaboration by and among the stakeholders relative to the water-related interests of the state and the state's people and institutions;
(1)(b) facilitate communication and coordination between the Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Agriculture and Food, the Department of Environmental Quality, and other state and federal agencies in the administration and implementation of water-related activities;
(1)(c) facilitate the establishment of local councils by certifying a local council:
(1)(c)(i) for the watersheds defined in Section 73-10g-303; and
(1)(c)(ii) after reviewing the proceedings and documents submitted by proposed local councils, to ensure that the local council meets t
