Text
(1)(1)(a) There is created a restricted account in the General Fund known as the "Water Infrastructure Restricted Account."
(1)(b) The restricted account shall earn interest.
(2)The restricted account consists of money generated from the following sources:
(2)(a) voluntary contributions made to the division for the construction, operation, or maintenance of state water projects;
(2)(b) appropriations made to the restricted account by the Legislature;
(2)(c) interest earned on the restricted account; and
(2)(d) money transferred to the restricted account under Section 73-10-25.
(3)Subject to appropriation, the division and the board shall manage the restricted account created in Subsection (1) in accordance with this chapter.
