§ 73-10-8 — Water Resources Construction Fund -- Creation and contents of fund -- Use -- Investigation Account created -- Interest -- Retainage -- Loans and grants for dam safety work.

Utah·Title 73 Water and Irrigation·Ch. 73-10 Board of Water Resources - Division of Water Resources
(1)There is created the Water Resources Construction Fund, which consists of:
(1)(a) money appropriated or otherwise made available to it by the Legislature;
(1)(b) money from the sale or management of the 500,000 acres of land selected for the establishment of reservoirs under Section 12 of the Utah Enabling Act;
(1)(c) charges assessed against water and power users pursuant to Section 73-10-6; and
(1)(d) interest accrued pursuant to Subsection (5).
(2)The board may authorize the use of money in the fund for the following purposes:
(2)(a) to develop water conservation projects, including paying the costs of construction, engineering, investigation, inspection, and other related expenses;
(2)(b) to provide loans and grants to dam owners to conduct dam safety studies;
(2)(c) to provide
