§ 72-16-305 — Insurance required.
Utah·Title 72 Transportation Code·Ch. 72-16 Amusement Ride Safety Act·Part 72-16-3 Amusement Ride Safety
(1)An owner-operator of an amusement ride shall carry liability insurance coverage in at least the following amounts:
(1)(a) $1,000,000 for bodily injury per occurrence;
(1)(b) $250,000 for property damage per occurrence; and
(1)(c) $3,000,000 annual aggregate limit.
(2)An owner-operator of an amusement ride located in an amusement park that employs more than 1,000 individuals in a calendar year shall carry liability insurance coverage in at least the following amounts:
(2)(a) $5,000,000 for bodily injury per occurrence;
(2)(b) $1,000,000 for property damage per occurrence; and
(2)(c) $10,000,000 annual aggregate limit.
