§ 72-10-801 — Definitions.
Utah·Title 72 Transportation Code·Ch. 72-10 Aeronautics and Space Act·Part 72-10-8 Law Enforcement Use of Unmanned Aircraft
As used in this part:
(1)"Civilian" means a person that is not a law enforcement officer.
(2)"Law enforcement agency" means the same as that term is defined in Section 53-3-102.
(3)"Law enforcement officer" means the same as that term is defined in Section 53-13-103.
(4)"Target" means a person upon whom, or an object, structure, or area upon which, another person:
(4)(a) has intentionally collected or attempted to collect information through the operation of an unmanned aircraft system; or
(4)(b) intends to collect or to attempt to collect information through the operation of an unmanned aircraft system.
