§ 67-5-12 — Dismissal of career status employees -- Causes -- Procedure -- Retention roster -- Reappointment register.

Utah·Title 67 State Officers and Employees·Ch. 67-5 Attorney General
(1)(1)(a) Employees in a career status may be dismissed only:
(1)(a)(i) to advance the good of public service;
(1)(a)(ii) where funds have expired or work no longer exists; or
(1)(a)(iii) for any of the following causes or reasons:
(1)(a)(iii)(A) noncompliance with provisions in the Office of Attorney General policy manual, or division policies, and, for attorneys, noncompliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct;
(1)(a)(iii)(B) work performance that is inefficient or incompetent;
(1)(a)(iii)(C) failure to maintain skills and adequate performance levels;
(1)(a)(iii)(D) insubordination or disloyalty to the orders of a superior;
(1)(a)(iii)(E) misfeasance, malfeasance, or nonfeasance;
(1)(a)(iii)(F) failure to advance the good of the public service, including conduct on or off duty whi
