Text
(1)As used in this section, "government position" means the position of a legislator, public officer, or public employee.
(2)The provisions of this chapter:
(2)(a) apply to all public officers and public employees; and
(2)(b) do not apply to a conflict of interest that exists between two or more government positions held by the same individual, unless the conflict of interest is also due to a personal interest of the individual that is not shared by the general public.
