Text

As used in this chapter:

(1)"Board" means the Board of Tourism Development created in Section 63N-7-201.
(2)"Managing director" means the managing director of the Utah Office of Tourism.
(3)"Sports organization" means an organization that:
(3)(a) is exempt from federal income taxation in accordance with Section 501(c)(3), Internal Revenue Code;
(3)(b) maintains the organization's principal location in the state;
(3)(c) has a minimum of 15 years experience in the state hosting, fostering, and attracting major summer and winter sporting events statewide; and
(3)(d) was created to foster state, regional, national, and international sports competitions in the state, to drive the state's Olympic and sports legacy, including competitions related to Olympic sports, and to promote and encourag
