§ 63N-18-201 — Creation of the Utah Center for Immigration and Integration -- Responsibilities of the center.
(1)There is created within the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity the Utah Center for Immigration and Integration.
(2)The center shall:
(2)(a) assist individuals and businesses in the state with identifying pathways for recruiting and retaining foreign labor;
(2)(b) coordinate with state agencies in developing and administering policies and programs related to immigrant integration;
(2)(c) develop and implement a statewide strategy for immigrant integration that promotes economic opportunities for immigrant communities in the state;
(2)(d) create and convene a task force to review and make recommendations regarding the state's policies on immigrant integration;
