Text
(1)The authority shall create, maintain, and review a statewide, comprehensive multiyear strategic plan, in consultation with state and local stakeholders, the PSAP advisory committee, and the public safety advisory committee, that:
(1)(a) coordinates the authority's activities and duties in the:
(1)(a)(i) 911 Division;
(1)(a)(ii) Radio Network Division;
(1)(a)(iii) Interoperability Division; and
(1)(a)(iv) Administrative Services Division; and
(1)(b) includes:
(1)(b)(i) a plan for maintaining, upgrading, and expanding the public safety communications network, including microwave and fiber optics based systems;
(1)(b)(ii) a plan for statewide interoperability;
(1)(b)(iii) a plan for statewide coordination;
(1)(b)(iv) radio network coverage maps; and
(1)(b)(v) FirstNet standards.
