Text

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Chief information officer" means the director of the Division of Technology Services, created in Section 63A-16-103.
(1)(b) "Department" means the Department of Government Operations, created in Section 63A-1-104.
(2)(2)(a) In accordance with Subsection (3), the chief information officer shall approve the acquisition by an executive branch agency of:
(2)(a)(i) information technology equipment;
(2)(a)(ii) telecommunications equipment;
(2)(a)(iii) software;
(2)(a)(iv) services related to the items described in Subsections (2)(a)(i) through (iii); and
(2)(a)(v) data acquisition.
