Text

(1)The governor shall select a nominee based on:
(1)(a) the applicant's fitness for office; and
(1)(b) statutory requirements.
(2)The governor shall follow the process described in Section 67-1-2 to notify the Senate of a nominee for an appointed board member vacancy.
