Text
As used in this chapter:
(1)"Political subdivision" means:
(1)(a) a county;
(1)(b) a municipality, as defined in Section 10-1-104;
(1)(c) a special district;
(1)(d) a special service district;
(1)(e) an interlocal entity, as defined in Section 11-13-103;
(1)(f) a community reinvestment agency;
(1)(g) a local building authority; or
(1)(h) a conservation district.
(2)(2)(a) "Public employee" means any individual employed by or volunteering for a state agency or a political subdivision who is not a public official.
(2)(b) "Public employee" does not include an individual employed by or volunteering for a taxed interlocal entity.
(3)(3)(a) "Public official" means:
(3)(a)(i) an appointed official or an elected official as those terms are defined in Section 63A-17-502; or
(3)(a)(ii) an indivi
